Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

This curriculum is designed for adults who have completed 60 semester hours of college credit (including general education courses) for admission.  Students complete the curriculum with a B.S. in Business Administration in 18 months.  Students take one course per month until the curriculum is completed.

College Start (CS)

In this program, adults who are new to college will take core (general education) courses toward a college degree.  This arrangement provides a preliminary source of success.  Students who desire may declare a major at the end of the two years.

Teacher Education/Lateral Entry (TELE)

College graduates in North Carolina may be employed as teachers in the public schools with a temporary license (certification).  They may take up to five years to get a permanent license.  The college provides the courses needed for this licensure.  The Division of Education will manage these courses.

The Advanced College Experience (ACE)

This component is designed for adults who have had some college experience for credit.  After transcript evaluation, these students will take the traditional courses toward a degree in:

·        Elementary Education

·        Computer Information Systems

·        Religious Studies

·        Business Administration

·        Criminal Justice

Livingstone Early Admissions Program (LEAP)

LEAP is designed for high school juniors and seniors who are interested in taking college courses while they are still in secondary school.  The program is for qualified students who have a B average or above.  They may take up to seven credit hours per semester in English, mathematics, biology or the social sciences.  Later these courses may be applied toward a college degree at Livingstone College or another college or university.
